Active substance: Anastrozole
Active life: 2-4 days
Detection time: Around 2 to 4 weeks, though it can vary depending on dosage, duration of use, and individual metabolism.
Anastrozole is one of the most widely used aromatase inhibitors among anabolic steroid users, known for its effectiveness in controlling estrogen-related side effects. Originally developed for breast cancer treatment, it has become a go-to compound for athletes and bodybuilders seeking to manage estrogen levels during or after steroid cycles. Its primary role is to prevent the conversion of androgens into estrogen, thereby reducing the risk of gynecomastia, water retention, bloating, and the associated rise in blood pressure often caused by elevated estrogen levels.
How to use:
Anastro is used on-cycle to control estrogen-related side effects such as gynecomastia, water retention, and high blood pressure. A typical dose ranges from 0.5mg to 1mg per day, but should be adjusted based on individual response. The goal is to manage estrogen, not eliminate it entirely.
For PCT (Post Cycle Therapy), the same dose (0.5mg–1mg daily) is generally effective. Anastrozole has a half-life of about 48 hours, and steady blood levels are reached after approximately 7 days of consistent use. It can be taken with or without food, at any time of day.
